All the $50k ones are black, white, grey, silver. No blues, no oranges. Lame. Would you rather one of these or a Colorado?

Because people are boring.

I’ve sat in both and the interior of the Colorado seemed to feel better. Plus the ranger has that weird stepped off armrest. Though the colo I sat in was a ZR2 diesel which was also kinda cool and blue.

In Canada, a ZR2 is only two thousand more than a loaded Ranger. I think I’d rather the Colorado.

Current best spec I’ve built (but with the locking differential ) :

With the diesel and loaded to the gills it was like 49k. It was super nice honestly though really I wouldn’t need all that stuff. The ranger I saw was an xlt and it was 40k but still

Maybe it goes back to the factory. It could be they are not stocking the fun colours, or production issues making the paint before it arrives at the production line. Likely like others have mentioned it probably because people are boring. A friend works at Honda in Alliston in the paint department & was saying once the red had having issues curing & they had to stop making red cars for a short time until the paint supplier fixed the paint.

The orange is nice, I only ever see them in twin crew cabs and I think is now discontinued .
Colorado R ed is good
Copper R ed is clean.
Performance Blue looks great.
The Hulk Limited Edition from 2016 certainly stands out.

Ford charges about
$2000 for that color

I saw a Colorado Z71 in that “Crush” orange color today . It was amazing.

Because people who can drop $50k on a pickup lack creativity. Blandness appeals to them.

They can’t hear you, they’re too busy printing money.

You know that Ra m you showed us a while back that matched the FiST? Get that instead.
I seriously don’t know why people want vehicles that camouflage themselves against road conditions. (Says the guy whose two daily drivers are the same colour as the sky)

Dealers know what sell and generally it’s a much easier sell to 55 yo, suburbanite, Phil when it’s black, grey, silver or white. Remember consumers don’t buy from manufacturers dealers do and dealers want to buy the most common/popular configurations and...colors.

I’d have to drive both but I prefer the Ranger looks and prefer F ord over Chevy in general. I’d be getting one in Blue personally. Those colors are selling better in general I think because people worry about resale.

I agree but I also drive a grey Camry, but you don’t really pick a car based on color in the sub $5000 range. If your me you buy on mechanical condition first nor paint color unless it’s beige or tan on the outside. That’s a dealbreaker after my beige Crown Vic that was my grandmothers.

Meh. Life is too short to drive something boring. Mechanical condition only plays a small role in decision making. Not rusted to all hell and not boring plays a much bigger part.

Saw this one in Texarkana, TX on the lot today!
